Safe Routes to School Intersections

Following the creation of the Safe Routes to School Travel Plan and application for funding, the Ohio Department of Transportation awarded Bay Village funds to update five intersections that were identified as important connectors for school travel. These updates are scheduled to be completed in 2023.

An RRFB, or "rectangular rapid-flashing beacon," is a pedestrian-activated visibility enhancement like the pedestrian crosswalks at Lake and Cahoon Roads, Lake and Columbia Roads, and Dover Center and Bruce Roads.
