On May 22, 2006, the Bay Village Police Department moved from its old location at City Hall to a new facility at 28000 Wolf Road. The new police station replaced outdated, inefficient, and unsafe offices with a state-of-the-art facility. The Police Department Campus is two buildings:
- A main building
- A garage/shooting range building
Its modern jail can house individuals for up to 12 days. A video arraignment room provides for quick and efficient contact with court, eliminating the need to take prisoners to court. The dual-station dispatch is a hub of new technology making the building a technologically-advanced law enforcement facility.
The Police Station also has a meeting room available to the community which seats up to 50 persons.
