Hydrant Flushing

Continues through mid-June. Hydrants are flushed from 8:30am to 3:00pm.

If you notice rusty or discolored water let your cold water run for a few minutes until it is clear again. Should any rusty water end up accidentally in your laundry, the Fire Department has a supply of rust remover packets. Call 871-1214 for more information or just stop in at the Fire Station.

Our new curbside recycling program has doubled our recycling rate and the amount of waste being sent to the land fill declined 27%!

Huntington Metroparks

The Huntington Metroparks Reservation lies in the heart of Bay Village but is not part of the City of Bay Village. The Huntington Reservation includes Huntington Beach, a recently certified "Blue Wave" beach, the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, BAYarts, Huntington Playhouse and Vento Tratoria. In addition the park has hiking trails, picnic areas, a sledding hill and a beautiful view of downtown Cleveland.
