Grass has matured on the soccer fields and the playing of games began in the fall of 2006. The scenic walking and bike trail is ready for use. Paving of the park roadway and parking area is completed. Many trees have been planted and other landscaping added.
Discussion of future improvements continue between the cities of Bay Village and Avon Lake. Those proposed additions include two baseball fields, restrooms,and a picnic pavilion.
