Memorial Day Parade Cancellation

Monday, May 25th

Recent guidance from Governor DeWine indicates that large group gatherings will be one of the last things to be allowed by Dr. Amy Acton, State Director of Health.  In conjunction with input from the Memorial Day organizers, this year's parade and ceremony at the gazebo have been cancelled. This decision is consistent with other Westshore cities. Factors included that the Bay schools are closed and that the event would exceed the current health directives, which limit the size of groups.  We apologize for this cancellation but are looking forward to the Veteran's Day ceremony at the Dwyer Center, to honor those who have served our country.
