Potluck and Program

Ever feel like you are swimming upstream in traffic on I-71? Lee Hall, Fossil Preparator and Vertebrate Paleontology Lab Manager with Cleveland Museum of Natural History, travels through time down Interstate 71 to a period when Northeast Ohio was flooded by a shallow tropical sea. While I-71 was under construction, giant armored fish skulls and mummified sharks buried for 360 million years were uncovered. Learn the history behind the discovery of this hidden treasure.
Admission is free for Bay Historical Society members. If you are not a member, a $5 donation is requested when you arrive at the potluck/meeting. Membership is encouraged and annual fee is $10 for students, $25 for individuals and $35 for families.
