Young Innovators: Aerospace

Saturday, February 04, 2017, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Interested in learning with NASA scientists? Each session we'll explore a different aspect of the interdisciplinary fields in aerospace engineering. The NASA-run series will involve basic, intermediate and advanced skills exploring subjects such as aerodynamics, orbital mechanics, and structural mechanics through various fun and engaging hands-on projects. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about the basics of astronomy, piloting an airplane, and designing a rocket for space exploration through computer simulations. Release form signed by parent or guardian is required. Participants may be recorded and/or surveyed to capture program's effectiveness.
