PART-TIME CLERICAL- FRONT DESK

The City of Bay Village is currently hiring for a Part-Time Clerical position.  This position is responsible for greeting and assisting residents and visitors at the front desk at City Hall.  Responsibilities include answering phones, collecting funds and processing payments, sort and distribute daily mail and enter purchase orders into the computer system.  Other duties include coordinating rental requests and payments for two City owned rental facilities and sales of T-shirts and Bay Village merchandise.  Other duties as assigned.

This position will be scheduled approximately 12 hours per week and will have varied shifts 8:30am-12:30pm or 12:30pm - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
The starting rate of pay is between $12.18 - $16.80 per hour

POLICE DEPARTMENT - ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER - FULL TIME

The City of Bay Village is partnering with the City of North Olmsted to hire a full-time Animal Control Officer. This position will serve both the communities of Bay Village and North Olmsted and will be responsible for the administration and enforcement of the Codified Ordinances dealing with care and control of both domestic and non-domestic animals. This position will also be responsible for operating the kennel and completing reports and other duties as assigned.
Must possess a valid Ohio driving license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred to have prior animal control officer related experience in a municipal environment.

POLICE DEPARTMENT - SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD

The Bay Village Police Department is accepting applications for School Crossing Guard.
This position is part-time and the hours are varied.  Starting pay is $9.61 per hour.

PATROL OFFICER - PART TIME

The City of Bay Village is hiring for part-time Patrol Officers. Applicants must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, college preferred. A valid State of Ohio driver's license is required. A minimum of 3 years full time or equivalent law enforcement experience required. Officers must have availability to work all shifts.
Applicants must pass all examinations including written, physical agility, background investigation, polygraph, personal interviews, psychological exam and a comprehensive medical examination, including drug testing. Applicants must have current Police Officer Physical Agility Examination. certificate administered by the Cuyahoga Community College Law Enforcement Training Division. DISPATCHER-PART TIME

The City of Bay Village is hiring part-time Dispatchers.  This position is responsible for all dispatching functions for the Bay Village Police Department.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.  Applicants must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older.  A valid State of Ohio driver's license is required.  This position requires a strong service orientation and a demonstration of strong written and verbal skills.  Prior experience in public safety dispatching or law enforcement strongly preferred.
