Income Tax Preparation

Take the headache and cost of tax preparation out of your life by having your taxes prepared and electronically filed by our wonderful AARP Tax Volunteers!

IRS trained AARP Volunteers are available to prepare your tax return at the Dwyer Center.  They are here every Friday morning February-mid-April.  Appointments are available from 8:30-11:00 am.

There is no cost for this service, but "thanks" is always appreciated.

What  to Bring To Your Appointment:

Please bring the following items when you come for your appointment.

· A copy of last years return, if you have it.

· Any documentation of taxable interest, taxable dividends, proceeds from asset sales, pension or annuity payments or IRA distributions, Social Security or Railroad retirement benefits, miscellaneous income, wages, salary, tips.

If stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares were sold, bring specific information on the dates they were purchased and also the costs including any dividend investment.

If your home was sold for $500 or more, bring information on the date you purchased the home, the amount originally paid, and dates and costs of all improvements.
