Columbia Culvert Replacement

Project Overview:  Replacement of existing culvert with 256' of a manufactured four sided concrete box culvert.  Current culvert is comprised of multiple sections and multiple structure types that have been installed over the years.  Date of origin is unknown.  

Area Impacted: Columbia Rd/SR 252 between Lake Rd/US 6 and Wolf Rd. Onset of construction will see a complete closure of Columbia Rd starting at Lake Rd for approximately 200'. Closure will last for approximately 20 days.  Traffic will be maintained for the remaining portions of the project.  Local access will be maintained for residents and the southerly entrance of Bay Presbyterian Church

Detour:  Detour will utilize State Routes 2, 6, 20, 83, 90 and 254 and will be signed accordingly.

6-19-19 Update

Columbia Rd Culvert Project: Road Closure:Beginning June 24, 2019, Columbia Rd will be closed between Wolf and Lake Roads, for approximately 20 days for culvert replacement under the roadway.  Detour signage will be posted, city provided services (refuse, mail, etc) will continue and local access for residents within the closure will be maintained.  Length of closure may be impacted by weather.
