10/22/18 Power Outage Update - The current estimate from First Energy is that power will be restored to residents by 11 pm this evening. There was extensive damage to power lines for 147 homes east of Bradley Road, south of Lake Road and west of Bassett Road.  Multiple utility poles were damaged during the storm and must be replaced (a minimum of 6 poles) before service can be restored to residents.  These poles are located in rear yards on private property requiring specialized equipment.  The streets impacted include Webster, Winston, Manhasset, Saddler, Breezewood and Bayview.  First Energy has been in contact with the city last night and again this morning. A plan has been finalized and crews are being mobilized for this area.  The police station community room is open as a warming center.  We appreciate your patience.

The start of leaf season has been deferred due to the warm weather and lack of leaf drop. We will be posting street collection updates once we begin leaf collection.
